The Castellon tile company Azteca and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement to create the first official line of ceramic tiles of the Spanish team. The world launch will take place at Cersaie 2012, the most important ceramics trade fair in the sector, which is being held from 25th to 29th September in Bologna (Italy).
Bologna (September 2012).- The most important fair in the ceramics sector, Cersaie 2012, (Bologna, Italy) is the chosen venue for this worldwide presentation of the official line of FC Barcelona ceramic wall and floor tiles. The Spanish company, Azteca has reached an agreement with the club whereby images of the players as well as the club’s badge and other murals with group poses, will be produced in this new support system.
The FC Barcelona ceramic tiles have been catalogued as “Premium”, which is the highest category for quality and exclusivity the Club awards for its official products. In total, two types of formats of floor tiles have been designed measuring 31 x 31 cm. in red paste and 45 x 45 cm. in porcelain. The pieces for wall tiles are in white paste and come in one size, 30 x 60 cm.
Azteca has pioneered the introduction of football passion into the tile market. By incorporating the Barça image in the manufacture of ceramic tiles, the company has covered the two giants of the Spanish League.
The product is aimed at distinct markets, from the Club itself to the fans who wish to bring their passion into the tiles of their homes, not forgetting the fan clubs, hotels, restaurants or diverse types of businesses that wish to express their support for the Spanish team in an original and exclusive way.
Azteca’s stand at Cersaie, (Hall 26, stand A104-B105) is mainly given over to this star product. In fact, the central area has been designed to simulate a football pitch, around which all the elements which make up the FC Barcelona collection will be on display.
Investment in large formats
Besides the FC Barcelona range, Azteca is presenting at Cersaie 2012 two new marble series in large format following in the wake of the Xian brand, which was successfully launched at Mosbuild 2012. The two new incorporations are marketed under the name of Liberty R90 and Pulpis R90. These are high-gloss marble in two chromatic ranges of warm and cool tones, with a high quality design. These three collections, all measuring 30 x 90 cm., are designed for a wide range of markets thanks to the great variety of patterns which they present, from damasks and friezes with relief for the Russian and Arab markets to floral profiles and patterns widely accepted in the central European market.
Two spectacular reliefs, Grill and Bubbles, which give a distinctive look to the walls they decorate, enhancing them with volume and movement, complete the large format series. Another important innovation on display at CERSAIE 2012 will be the increased range of the 20 x 60cm. format in series such as Zement R60, Denver R60 and City R60. Besides, new kitchen designs in this format are now available and the bolstering of other series already in use, such as Life and Seasons, with new colours and pieces for inserts. In this respect, the successful series of Soul glass takes on a new dimension perfectly combining with the series of the same format but enhanced by the diverse design possibilities that it offers. Bearing this in mind, a piece type with a window has been designed, making it possible to include inserts in the chromatic range of your choice, which is eye-catching and colourful in all surroundings.
